{"id":356,"date":"2025-03-17T18:37:02","date_gmt":"2025-03-17T19:37:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gogetterlifestylebrand.com\/?p=356"},"modified":"2025-03-24T11:24:21","modified_gmt":"2025-03-24T11:24:21","slug":"dhs-says-deported-brown-university-doctor-attended-funeral-of-brutal-terrorist","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gogetterlifestylebrand.com\/index.php\/2025\/03\/17\/dhs-says-deported-brown-university-doctor-attended-funeral-of-brutal-terrorist\/","title":{"rendered":"DHS says deported Brown University doctor attended funeral of &#8216;brutal terrorist&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said Monday on the social platform X the deported assistant professor from Brown University\u2019s medical school attended the funeral of a terrorist in Lebanon.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The agency said Rasha Alawieh went to Lebanon in February to <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/education\/5198349-brown-university-professor-deported-dhs-lebanon-trump-immigration-crackdown\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">go to the funeral<\/a> of Hassan Nasrallah, a former secretary-general of Hezbollah. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He was \u201cresponsible for killing hundreds of Americans over a four-decade terror spree,\u201d DHS said. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlawieh openly admitted to this to CBP officers, as well as her support of Nasrallah,\u201d the agency continued, referring to Customs and Border Protection (CBP). \u201cA visa is a privilege not a right \u2014 glorifying and supporting terrorists who kill Americans is grounds for visa issuance to be denied.
