The pasteurization process cannot rid a product of patulin, either, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/food\/natural-toxins-food\/mycotoxins\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">FDA<\/a> says.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor humans, nausea, gastrointestinal disturbances and vomiting have been reported,\u201d WHO writes of those who experience acute symptoms.<\/p>\n<div class=\"nlp-ignore-block article-content rich-text\">\n<aside class=\"promo-link\">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.abc27.com\/news\/consumer\/kids-tonka-dump-trucks-recalled-one-fire-reported\/\" class=\"promo-link__link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><br \/>\n\t\tKids Tonka dump trucks recalled; one fire reported\t<\/a><br \/>\n<\/aside>\n<\/div>\n<p>S Martinelli &amp; Company of Watsonville, Calif., initiated its recall of the affected juice in March. This week, the FDA categorized the recall as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/safety\/industry-guidance-recalls\/recalls-background-and-definitions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201cClass II,\u201d<\/a> meaning the use of the recalled product \u201cmay cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences,\u201d even if \u201cthe probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"800\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" alt=\"Martinelli&#039;S Label\" class=\"wp-image-2343605 lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/gogetterlifestylebrand.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/MartinellisGettyImages-2168999401-e1745607942121-1.jpg\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">The Martinelli&#8217;s logo is seen on a package of apple juice in August 2024. (Smith Collection\/Gado\/Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The FDA indicates that the recalled juice was distributed to 28 states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Wisconsin. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The affected juice was sold in 10-ounce \u201cbulbous\/round glass bottle[s],\u201d per details of the FDA\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.accessdata.fda.gov\/scripts\/ires\/?Event=96542\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">enforcement report<\/a>. The recalled bottles featured a \u201cbest by\u201d date of Dec. 5, 2026, and a UPC number reading \u201c0 41244 04102 2.\u201d The products also bore <a href=\"https:\/\/www.accessdata.fda.gov\/scripts\/ires\/?Event=96542\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">one of dozens of batch codes<\/a> listed at the FDA\u2019s website.<\/p>\n<p>A representative for S.
