The Iowa native was a father of two. <\/p>\n People close to Mangione described him as a loner. One friend said he previously expressed \u201cfrustrations<\/a>\u201d with the U.S. healthcare system.<\/p>\n UnitedHealthcare is the largest insurance provider in the country.<\/p>\n The case captured global attention after a five-day<\/a> police chase, which ended in Mangione’s arrest in Pennsylvania. <\/p>\n The high-profile case is being litigated by former prosecutor<\/a> Karen Friedman Agnifilo, who has asked the judge not to seek<\/a> the death penalty for her client.
